Deutsche Fest debuts at Brands Hatch this weekend (19-20 August) and to help you make the most of this exciting new event, here is some useful information about your upcoming trip to the circuit.
Gate opening times
Public admission to the circuit is from 8am on Saturday and 9am on Sunday.
Southbank (inside the venue opposite the rear of the pits) is available for car parking for £5 per car. Click here for more details and to download a pass.
If you elected to have your tickets sent by post (not print-at-home), you will need to bring these to the circuit – copies and receipts are not accepted. All advance tickets have now been dispatched and were sent by either Recorded or Special Delivery, meaning a signature is required.
In the rare instance that your tickets have not arrived in time you will need to purchase them at the gate price and obtain a refund after the event by returning the gate ticket stubs and your original tickets to the venue office. If you have advance tickets, please have them separated before arriving at the gate.
Additional tickets are available on the gate for £20 per day with free entry for under-13s.
Grandstand seating is available in the Paddock Hill and Pit Straight Grandstands for £5 and are available from the Megastore opposite the Kentagon restaurant.
Directors Terrace upgrades are available from the Megastore by Paddock Hill Bend on both days, offering stunning raised views of the Indy circuit from an elevated terrace area for £30 on Saturday and £59 on Sunday.
Official souvenir programmes are available from vendors across the venue and the Megastore for £5. Each programme features in-depth articles on the event along with entry lists and information on the racing timetable.
There will be free-of-charge grid walks ahead of the headline VAG Trophy race on Saturday (12:45) and Volkswagen Racing Cup race on Sunday (13:30).
Public track sessions
At the time of this email, places are still available on Saturday to take your car out on track for a 15 minute track taster session. Please enquire at the Paddock office on the day.
There is much more than just racing going on at Deutsche Fest, including the following off-track attractions:
- German car displays
